The Kingsville Housing Authority (KHA) staff is a dedicated team committed to providing safe, affordable housing and supportive services to residents of Kingsville. Staff members combine experience in public housing management, property maintenance, resident services, and administration to ensure efficient operations, regulatory compliance, and responsive resident support.
Leadership
Executive Director: Oversees agency strategy, policy implementation, and community partnerships. Provides overall leadership to ensure KHA meets its mission and regulatory responsibilities. Identifies funding opportunities, prepares grant applications, and manages awarded funds for capital projects and resident programs.
Operations Manager: Manages day-to-day operations, program delivery, and interdepartmental coordination. Supports staff development and performance.
Public Housing Operations
Public Housing Manager: Administers tenant selection, leasing, and occupancy processes. Ensures fair housing practices and compliance with program rules. Process applications, conduct eligibility determinations, and manage move-ins and move-outs.
Inspections Coordinator: Conducts unit inspections to maintain housing quality and oversee corrective actions.
Section 8 Programs
Project-Based & Section 8 Voucher Program Manager & Coordinator: Administers tenant selection, leasing, and occupancy processes. Ensures fair housing practices and compliance with program rules. Process applications, conduct eligibility determinations, and manage move-ins and move-outs. Communicate with landlords. Ensures adherence to HUD and local regulations, oversees reporting requirements, and coordinates audits.
Maintenance and Facilities
Maintenance Supervisor: Oversees maintenance staff, schedules repairs, and prioritizes capital improvements.
Maintenance Technicians: Perform routine and emergency repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnarounds to maintain safe, habitable properties. Maintain exterior grounds, common areas, and the cleanliness of community spaces.
Resident Services (ROSS Program)
Resident Services Coordinator: Develops and manages programs that support resident self-sufficiency, community engagement, and access to social services. Connect residents with employment resources, healthcare, educational opportunities, and financial counseling.
Finance and Administration
Finance Manager/Accounting: Manages budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and procurement to safeguard public funds and ensure fiscal responsibility. Handle records management, billing, vendor relations, audits, and payroll operations.
Administrative Staff /Office Manager
Serve as primary contacts for resident inquiries, work order requests, and information on programs and policies. Manages community outreach, public notices, and informational materials for residents and stakeholders.
