Committed to providing and maintaining quality housing opportunities.

Welcome to the Housing Authority of the City of Kingsville. The Kingsville Housing Authority is committed to providing and maintaining quality housing opportunities for our community while promoting and encouraging self-sufficiency and independence.

The main focus of our agency is to provide affordable housing to low-income families in the Kingsville Community. In addition, the housing authority is committed to empowering families and our youth with opportunities for success.

The Housing Authority currently has 4 public housing developments comprised of Casa Ricardo Villa, Connell Villa, Maple Circle and Horizon Village. We assist 590 families through the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher Program. In addition to our Public Housing and Section 8 Programs, we are also in partnership with two Tax Credit Properties, Courts of Las Palomas with 128 units and Kings Crossing with 120 units.

Future plans include a new Mixed Finance Tax Credit Development anticipated to be completed by July 2011. The Heights at Corral will be a new 80 unit complex that will be comprised of Public Housing, Section 8 and Tax Credit Units developed to provide modernized housing for residents. Upcoming plans also include the demolition and new construction of Casa Ricardo Villa. The Housing Authority’s Senior Complex will be constructed with 57 one bedroom units and 3 two bedroom units. Both of these developments are being funded through the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs.

We hope you will enjoy your visit to the new website of the Kingsville Housing Authority.
